Description

The ground floor of this delightful cottage offering a spacious holiday retreat for 2 people, in this stunning development at Spindlestone Mill, a mile from the sea, and 2.5 miles from Bamburgh with its glorious castle standing watch over expansive beaches to the north and south.

A stone holiday cottage, which is a conversion of the grain stores associated with the mill itself and offers spacious holiday accommodation. A ground floor flexible bedroom allows for a choice of Super King doubles or Twin room with an adjacent shower room. The cottage is extremely well furnished and equipped with oak flooring to entrance hall, lounge, kitchen and dining area, the bedroom and halls are carpeted throughout, and bathroom has tiled floors. The property is underfloor heated, and has a log burning stove for added comfort. An ideal property for a couple's retreat, or friends holidaying together. Well behaved dogs welcomed.

Lower Millkeepers welcomes well behaved dogs (up to 2) @ £25 per dog per week or part thereof. When you book you will be asked to provide some information about your pet which will aide the owner in ensuring that the property is set up to welcome them.

 

A bit of K9 etiquette should be observed during your stay:-

  • Your pet should not be left in the property unattended (unless crated - crates can be hired - see what can be arranged on the main description tab)
  • Your pet should not be allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture
  • On booking for your pet, you are confirming that it is fully up to date on its flea treatment.

• THIS ONE BEDROOM OPTION IS ONLY AVAILABLE END OF SEPTEMBER TO EASTER AND EXCLUDES BANK AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, Christmas & New Year.
• The remainder of the property will remain unoccupied with bedrooms unmade and heating turned off in the upper areas during your stay.
• Well behaved dogs are welcome @ £25 per pet per sweek or part thereof.
• Note this property is adjacent to the Waren Burn so pets should be supervised in this area at all times.

Location

Lower Millkeepers is the low occupancy option of Millkeepers Cottage (at certain times of year) is nestled in the tiny hamlet of Spindlestone. As its name suggests it has been a working mill and as such is adjacent to the Waren Burn the original "mill race", and offers the opportunity to catch a glimpse of a huge range of wildlife and birds whilst being only a mile walk along a quiet lane to the well vantaged birdwatching habitat of Budle Bay.
