Description

Bamburgh First is a brand that was created by the owner because he realised that many second homes were often full of all the furniture and fittings that their owners didn’t want in their main house. He wanted to create accommodation that was as beautiful as the setting.

Every house has been decorated by a professional interior designer who has been briefed to follow the spirit of the house whilst making it feel special like a Knightsbridge Hotel. The beds are top hotel quality as is the linen and we hope that everything will feel special right down to the personally selected sweetie tin and the voucher for a pound of the best sausages in the world.

Annie Oswald's Cottage is part of the Bamburgh First collection of luxury self-catering Northumberland cottages situated in Adderstone. Nestled within a stunning, rural location in the heart of Northumberland, this cottage is ideally positioned to experience and enjoy all that the North East countryside has to offer.

The historic village of Bamburgh is only four miles away and, with a wide range of activities on offer, it’s a perfect day out for the whole family. Quoted as an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, there is plenty to do and see. Highlights include Bamburgh Castle, Grace Darling Museum and miles of unspoiled beaches to explore. A good selection of shops and restaurants are in the area with something to suit many taste palettes and styles.

This luxury coastal cottage is a fabulous living space designed over two floors of a beautifully converted stone farm building, which has had the benefit of recent refurbishment. Guests can take advantage of an outdoor patio area and cook up some barbeques.

Ground Floor

A spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, incorporating all modern conveniences makes this tastefully decorated dwelling a delight to stay in. Natural light floods the ground floor through a selection of windows giving a lovely bright, airy feel to the space. Real wood flooring, handpicked furnishings and meticulous attention to detail add to the impression of opulence and comfort.

The deluxe kitchen has been professionally designed to offer maximum convenience and state of the art technology. Plenty of cupboard space, generous work surfaces and a full complement of modern appliances are on hand in this creatively designed kitchen. A large dining table and chairs are appropriately placed in the adjoining space between the kitchen and lounge area. Perfect for family get togethers.

The lounge is comfortably set out, beautifully furnished and well equipped where a warm wood burning stove only enhances the relaxing atmosphere of this delightful rural self-catering cottage in the heart of Northumberland.

First Floor

The master bedroom is a stunning example of the high standard of quality that Bamburgh First devotes to all of their properties in the collection. The room is bright and spacious with a luxury king size bed, bedside units with reading lamps and storage facilities.

The contemporary style of the cottage continues through to the bright twin room, which is furnished with bedside units, reading lamps and storage facilities.

The shower room, designed to exacting standards, is clad in travertine tiling and offers a deluxe walk-in power shower.
